Gamification: The ideal method for engaging a new generation.
Challenge
In 2010, PWC, one of the world’s leading consulting firms, contacted us with the aim of attracting the best talent from universities and boosting the firm’s positioning in the university world.
Solution
At WTC we understand Gamification as the ideal way to attract university talent. In this way, the company could find the best students from all the universities in Spain based on empirical data.
Through a team competition, the aim was to facilitate and guide students in their entry into the workforce. The game consisted of three online phases and one in-person phase with the six finalist teams. The online phases concluded with the development of a practical case where students applied the knowledge acquired to a real case proposed by the firm. In the in-person phase, PwC could select the best talent by putting them to the test.
Results
Three editions of PwC Quest were developed. Each edition was attended by more than 700 final year students from 62 Spanish universities.
We managed to position ourselves among university students as one of the best options to start their professional career.
- It was presented as an international success story
- A large number of highly skilled individuals were hired thanks to this game and are still with the company today.
- This initiative is a bet for the brand on talent, people and the use of new technologies.
